The companies are able to have a global reach without actually having to open those many stores that they would have otherwise needed, to have that kind of global reach where they would have incurred huge expenses for the setup and the operational cost.

Direct selling companies need to follow certain guidelines wherein they need to have and maintain a website with complete detail of the product or service they are offering, The company details need to be mentioned and the terms and conditions of the company. Such websites need to be updated regularly and need to furnish all the necessary information required by the law.

Direct selling guidelines have also been made taking into consideration to avoid any kind of fraud. Relevant details need to be uploaded and mentioned in the website and time to time updating required in the public interest so that the people are not duped as many such cases are registered. As there are lot many scams happening where fraud companies with the direct selling try to cheat people by charging people through the internet and not providing the services or delivering the products ordered for. Such scammers are not only a threat to the public in general but also a big threat to other genuine companies who are also in the business of direct selling and who are genuine. As such scams always play on the psychology of the public which prevents them from taking the advantage of the other genuine companies. Therefore it becomes mandatory to issue direct selling guidelines in public and in company interest that are simple to understand and have no room for any kind of ambiguity for the people, company or the police.
